My friends, Tom and Karen Golgoski, gave me this recipe (along with some of their honey!) when we visited their home to learn about Tim’s bee keeping operation, Go Go Bees of Osage City, Ks. I left feeling as though I had barely scratched the surface in learning about bees and bee keeping – Tim has such knowledge to share! I hope to return one day to learn more. My family enjoyed this recipe and I tweaked it just a bit for us.
Honey Sriracha Chex Mix
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Corn Chex
1 cup small pretzels
1 cup salted peanuts
2 cups Cheezits Crackers
3 Tbs. melted butter
2-3 Tbs. Sriracha sauce
1/4 cup pure Kansas Honey, gently warmed
1 cup plain or peanut M & M’s
1 cup peanut butter M & M’s
Place cereals, pretzels, peanuts, and crackers into a large microwave safe bowl and toss together.

In a small bowl, combine butter and sriracha sauce with honey; pour mixture over dry ingredients in bowl and toss well to coat.

Microwave for 6-8 minutes, tossing every 2 minutes. Spread mixture out to cool, then add M & M’s. Store mixture in an airtight container.

I’m sorry I pressed print for the recipe…………….7 pages later …..why wasn’t it condensed to one page?
