Honey Pecan Goat Cheese

Talk about fantastic! This speedy little appetizer recipe came from my friend, Anne Lampe, of Scott City, Ks. I think would also be tasty with pistachios and cranberries for the Holidays. 

Honey Pecan Goat Cheese

4 oz. log goat cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, toasted
1 Tbs. honey (love our raw Kansas honey!), warmed a bit
tiny pinch of red pepper flakes

Combine pecans with honey and red pepper flakes; place mixture onto a large plate in a single layer. Roll log of goat cheese in pecan mixture, gently pressing it into all sides of the goat cheese. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
