WIBW Chili and Waffles | Chef Alli's Farm Fresh Kitchen

Speaking of Co-ops, October is national Co-op month! On this WIBW segment we met with KS Co-op Council president, Leslie Kaufman, to learn a little bit about how Kansas Co-ops work with members from many different fields to bring quality products to your grocery store and your table. Did you know that some very familiar names- Land O’ Lakes, Welch’s, Blue Diamond, and more- are national Co-op brands? Not to mention many of the basic products you have in your kitchen- flour, eggs, meat, etc- are produced, sourced, and transported by Co-ops. So next time you pass by your local Co-op, give a big thumbs-up to the member/owners who work hard to bring you such great products!
