Remarkable Barbecue: Experiencing Jack Stack at Home

Jack Stack delivered to our door. The directions said there’s 4 simple steps to a delicious feast: unpack, store, thaw, and heat. That’s really it?? I was pretty skeptical . Turns out, it WAS that simple AND that delicious!

People travel from all over the world for a taste of Kansas City-Style Barbecue and many believe it’s the premiere bbq experience. Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue, a Kansas-owned company, started in 1957, by founder Russ Fiorella, provides hickory-smoked ribs, brisket, burnt ends and more to customers.  Whether you’re visiting one of their five KC area restaurants, hosting a catered barbecue event, or ordering dinner online for home delivery, you’ll soon discover why Jack Stack has won numerous awards and was named the best in the country by Zagat.

Could a pre-packaged product shipped to my home provide the same Jack Stack experience I’d had in their restaurant? I truly didn’t think so. Happily, Jack Stack proved me wrong! I simply opened each sealed package and specifically followed the provided directions. I’m here to tell you everything was exactly as Jack Stack claims: “Remarkable Barbecue”. The booklet included with their home delivery products has tons of great info, including recipes, party planning tips and even a Q & A section featuring Pit Master, Tim Keegan – very helpful!

The man with ALL the barbecue answers, Tim Keegan, Jack Stack Pit Master. Tim told me he’s been smoking meats for over 50 years and got his start from his Dad who loved creating delicious barbecue. Our Jack Stack spread included brisket, burnt ends, ribs, chicken wings, Cheesy Corn Bake, and Hickory Pit Beans – all incredibly delicious!
